Ebony Jackson, a single mother determined to give her children a better life, decides to start all over again. Leaving behind a difficult past, she and her two young children move into a new home, where her own mother joins them to support them in this new beginning. The house, nestled in a quiet neighborhood, seems to be the ideal refuge for this family in search of stability. What was supposed to be a new beginning soon turns into a nightmare when she discovers that the house is already home to an evil force, an invisible but terribly powerful entity bent on spreading terror. The disturbing phenomena multiply: inexplicable noises, moving shadows, objects that move on their own. Each night, the events become more menacing, plunging the family into growing fear.
